Why do I feel guilty.....
I feel guilty because I have become an even more rubbishy blogger than usual. I know all the pros and cons about it has to be fun and being under no obligation. The sane me understands that this is true, the other me feels that she is letting herself down.
After all this is a 'daily delve' into my life and how often did I start writing a diary as a child only to give up after a few weeks. I promised myself this time I would keep it going come what may!! I enjoy reading blogs and this week having the family staying has made me really appreciate the effort some of you must make to write a blog and look after a family. We've had five children and five adults in the house this week and I have struggled to get posts published, I cobbled together Fun Monday and for about the first time ever I did not get around to visiting everyone and for this I feel guilty (I may still make it you never know!).
This week I have managed to read a few posts in bloglines (I still have an 84 backlog), and I've been actively plurking when I get a few minutes as this is quick and easy to do. I really do understand why Beccy has given up blogging and why Sam has greatly reduced the number of posts she produces. In September I will have been blogging for two years and so far have posted 686 times on my main blog and 92 on my photo blog which I started a year ago. I guess I want to prove to myself that I can keep going. I admire and, I don't mind admitting, envy of all the bloggers who write captivating posts, especially those who keep us hanging on our seats with installments. I know my limitations and I'm happy to share my daily drivel with anyone who finds the time to read it.
So to all of you who are dropping in and leaving me comments even though I may not have been over to yours, I thank you and I will see you soon.
The family are at the cinema seeing Space Chimps
and I'm suppose to be clearing up and getting dinner ready so I'd better get my skates on....Bye for now Archives:
