I am up very early
bright eyed and bushy tailed as I have to get to the airport to pick up Beccy and the children by 7:30am. Actually I'm not sure getting up this early suits me any longer and I'm already feeling rather tired as I was late getting to bed last night. I spend a good part of yesterday evening (when I wasn't reading fun monday posts) baking a couple of cakes (Somerset Apple cake and Lemon cake). You've seen these before so am not putting up recipes. These cakes are favourites with my grand children so they are baked with love.
Thank you all for showing your aprons and tea towels, there were a few posts not up by the time I went to bed so I will get around to reading those. There were a few late entries that are well worth looking at!
I'm not sure how much time I will get to blog this week so it will be a bit hit and miss.

Oh, those cakes look very good. Have fun and we'll see you when you get around to blogging. Having fun with family seems much more important. Thanks for being the hostess with the mostess. I will try to post some pics of tea towels and aprons sometime soon just for fun.

It is a good thing you live in England because I've started my diet again today and those cakes look WAY too tempting. I would have to visit.
There must be something in the air - I started my diet yesteday again too and refused someones' homemade cupcake.

I was driving through Bristol at 4am yesterday - then back through by 8:30am....and thought of you. ;) I'm pooped today, but I'm defo going to get on with the painting that is torturing me in my dreams.
