Fun Monday# I'm hosting next week (6 Aug)
JUST REPOSTING THIS TO MAKE SURE I HAVE THE LINKS FOR EVERYONE WHO WANTS TO JOIN IN.
This is my second time at hosting Fun Monday and it is quite by coincidence that I am keeping you all in the kitchen as I had this ready for last week when I though I might be at the helm then.
However I will confess I'm going to cheat a little, as 'ideas' are not my big thing, and use an event I participated in a few weeks ago. I saw it being advertised by Barbara and Cookiecrumb from Lucillian Delights food blog. It was Pamela who commented that I could make this the subject of a Fun Monday. So with a little variation here goes:
I would like you to 'show your aprons' it can be your favourite or an unusual one or more than one. Be creative as you like;
and secondly if, like me, you have lots of 'tea towels' that are brand new (or could be an old favourite) I would like to see those as well and hear the story behind the picture- was it a gift from a holiday, a present from auntie that you only use when she visits etc...........

I'll do it, but I have no idea what this "apron" thing is you mention. Aren't you just supposed to wipe your hands on your pants?

Seeing as I now own an apron (purchased recently) I can play!
At first, I was thinking "apron? I have no aprons." I do; I just do not wear them. Count me in.
I used to have aprons. Since I never used them, I tossed them. Years ago. So I can't play. Boo.

Here's the deal. I want to play, but we are leaving on a road trip and won't be home until next Monday. I have already composed a post where I guessed at the "topic." It wasn't aprons and tea towels.
If theHansMan is late leaving, I will have time to put this together. If not, may I use the post where I just guessed at Fun Monday's topic?

I don't have an apron anymore. I guess I just get crap all over my clothes when I cook, huh!

I'm in - I'm not sure what my aprons look like, but I have a box of them in the basement. They belonged to my Mom and Grandmother. They are probably moldy.....

I would love to play but honestly I have no aprons. All these kitchen oriented Fun Monday's are making me feel a little masculine. I just don't like to be in the kitchen. So I have no aprons to share so I guess I'll sit this one out.

I'm going to try to participate in this one. I'll see how the weekend goes (if I can find a few spare minutes to dig out the aprons and some of our more interesting tea towels and then photograph them).

I've thought long and hard about this and I've decided to do it. It's not an easy assignment for me. Please add me to the list anyway:o)
Why do you want to get rid of that moss? I love moss! We're actually going to dig some up from the woods, put it in a blender, and paint it on some of our boulders. (Our landscape architect friend says that's the way to transplant it.) Moss is cool and lush and so like a tiny forest. Keep the moss and act like you put it there on purpose.

I have no idea what to post as I don't have aprons. I was going to tell you I cooked in the nude but I see tiggerlane has already done that joke. I have tea towels but not exciting ones so not sure on that one either. I'll see what I can come up with anyway!
theotherbear- that's a post in itself talking about no apron and ordinary tea towels (or your dishwasher maybe if that dries your dishes!!)
