Buying for a new baby
I rather think my Witty Wednesday fell flat yesterday as no one managed to see the animated version of the bee peeing (bp petrol/gas) oh well I did try.... do I hear someone (Embee) saying that I'm very trying LOL
So far there doesn't seem to be a volunteer for the next Fun Monday come on folks don't be shy at putting yourself forward.
Yesterday I went out to buy my friend's new grandaughter a little gift. I was going to get something pink but as I'm rather fond of mauve, purple, lavender I decided to get this (the colour is actually much softer than it looks in this picture)...and they can always change it!
Now I'm wondering if I really should have gone for something in baby pink what do you think??

i love it. not everything has to be pink....
I like that colour...pink gets worn a lot by female kiddies.
Purple/lavender is more unusual. :)
I agree. when I buy for little girls, I steer away from pink.
speaking from experience, everyone gives pink, so it's very nice and refreshing to receive something purple. very cute outfit!

Thank You guys, it's a long time since I bought anything for a baby. Everything looked so gorgeous.
When I think back to what was available when mine were babies in the 60's nothing washed and dried easily. It was mainly knitted and cotton.
I rather like the purple.... I get tired of seeing girls in pink and boys in blue all the time.
I hope you get a host.. I've been doing it a lot lately and my brain is just empty of ideas at the moment.
I think they will welcome a color other than pink. Very cute.

So sorry I did not get the joke yesterday, seriously after reading it it came across as a fart joke and then it turns out it was pee! Took me a few times to work out that BP! LOL! I really do not like the meds they put me on. I feel so drowsy and stupid!
Okay, okay... I'll host. I'll have an assignment up around lunchtime today (Friday).
the pink is growing on me, but we'd rather have green, purple, yellow, or orange! she even wears blue, although most of the time we have to ignore comments about the cute boy that we have.. we dont see fit to correct people most of the time, it doesnt matter that much to us. in short, i think the purple is great!
I think its just perfect .... seeing as I dont do pink that is LOL
