It never rains but it pours! Episode # 2 Decking Boards
What did I do today! In all the heat I treated the underside of the new decking boards. Big mistake because I was out there far too long in the midday sun and made myself feel a bit sick.

It's funny I could only get your witty wed post until today which is why I asked about posts. Just now it took me to that page but when I refreshed the page the I got the more recent posts.

Chris, glad you feel better now, was it the fumes and heat mixed do you think?
You'd be amazed at the number of home handymen that think the ripple side is the top (a misbelief about traction). A friend of mine did a really big deck that way, in due course he realised the mistake he had made when he tried to sweep it!
daffy it was tennis watching that really got me I did watch a lot of Wimbledon :)
WT here it's advertised as 'either' 'or' for the top side. I think quite a few people use the ridged side on top but not us. The quality of the wood is pretty poor which is disappointing. We had mahogany before and it looked good I've got a feeling I'm going to be disappointed with the overall look of this.
