A weed is simply something you don't want where it is.

I'm no garden puritan, but I've always loved yellow in my garden, no matter what the source!

Now if you made Dandelion wine - you would see "ingredient".

However, as WT says - yes, a weed is simply something you don't want where it is....which include's my Goatsbeard flower which has reseeded itself EVERYWHERE in my flowerbed. I've been pulling up handfulls.

Aren't dandelions amazing. They're such a pain, but lovely, too.

What imaginative readers you have! :o)
It's a blinkin' weed! hehe Only joking. I think it's very pretty. Yellow is such a vibrant colour in the garden and brightens up any pot or patch!

jackie it is very pretty but a nuisance in the garden I cultivate them for the tortoises to eat LOL

Grannymar I agree looking at a bed of dandelions is as uplifting as a bed of daffodils.

AC where I would once have ponced and dug them out. I now pounce and pick to feed to the 3 T's.

I see good medicine. The leaves are very good for you to eat too! Just wash them and throw them in your salads.
