Chrysanthemums in Bloom
Looking out of my kitchen window my back garden (yard) is now beginning to look very dull and dreary except for this one spot of colour that will probably last another couple of weeks.

Hi Chris ~~ Your chrysanthemums look lovely still. And I didn't know tortoises hibernated. It is amazing how they (and other animals) can go without food and water for so long a time. Thanks for your comments and I am glad that embee was pleased that I posted his one-liners. He sent me another joke, which I put somewhere
(safely) and I will come across it some day. Why don't you take computer classes now Chris?~~ age is no barrier - I'm 73. Take care my friend, say hello to your husband. Love, Merle.
Very pretty mum.
Lucky you to still have color! I can't believe all the things you still have in bloom.

The frost nailed ours!
that looks so pretty...my mums died off ages ago!! :-( the only colour we have around here are the leaves...which i wish i could capture in a photograph!
so pretty. all our stuff died. darn those cold nights!
Long gone here. Nice to see yours though.
They look so pretty. I normally manage to kill anything living in our house before the frost can get to it. It's a special skill!
Wow...your chrysanthemums still in Bloom!!?Very nice coloures. My chrysanthemums are already brown in my garden!
Oh, so pretty! Come and grow pretty flowers for me! I'll bake you lemon bars!
they look beautiful!
They look beautiful! My pots? Look scraggly and awful and I'm too lazy to do anything about it yet. (actually, I'm just overwhelmed with all my little projects...)
Lovely "Mum" pictures! Mine were still blooming yesterday (very unusual for Minnnesota this time of year, but it dipped into the teens last night so I think that is the end of them!) Have a Happy Thanksgiving with Sam!!
