I love my imac but....
Doesn't time fly-I cannot believe that it is almost 2 years (well 21 months to be precise) since I had my new large screen imac. Reading this you might think I'm never satisfied, but I now want a laptop as well. I hear my plurking pals talking about multitasking and I would like to be able to sit in front of the TV and use my computer at the same time.
At the moment I charge between rooms during the adverts, to read blogs and plurk. That might be good exercise but it's not very convenient. So I have started saving and although I have no idea how long it will take me I will eventually get myself that laptop. Then it will be deciding what to get....of course, it will be another mac!

I have a laptop, but I pretty well keep in plugged in and use it like a desktop for the most part. The good thing is that I can take it with me when I really need to.
(Sorry about your back, below.)
Chris, we've been thinking about getting one for when we travel. We have 2 PCs, so we really don't need it for home, but I'm sure I'd use it.
There's nothing like a laptop ;--)
Hugs and blessings,
HiChris,
I have a laptop and a desktop computer. Right now I'm commenting to you on my laptop while watching TV. I also like to have a laptop as a backup in case my desktop goes on the blink
Have a good Chris.

You will love it! After having my laptop for 6 months, I finally took it out of the box and set it up over the Christmas holiday. I'm typing this from the basement while watching a movie. And if I want to try a new recipe on the internet, I just bring the website up from the laptop sitting on the kitchen counter and follow the recipe right there. Pretty darn handy. Here's hoping the pennies add up fast and your nice shiny new laptop brings you lots of happiness!!
I'm so thankful--before Christmas my laptop broke and I was reliant on our decrepit PC. Painfully slow and shared among five people! A reader/friend gave me a used macbook, and oh, my...it is SWEET!
I'm the opposite of you--we want a mac desktop now! But the expense? Not any time soon I'm afraid!
When I read this, all I could think about was shaving hairy legs... or not shaving hairy legs...
Funny you should mention this, SB gave me macbook recently and I have not bothered to use it at all. He passed it over to Cameragirl this week and she was ever so excited.
