Silent Sunday

Top picture is Battersea Power Station

We have just got back from London and to relieve the boredom of the journey I took a lot of photos. We drove along the Embankment just as the sun set and I was taking the photos through the window of a moving car so they are not very good but nevertheless I will share a few.

The pictures look well, although that part of the day makes me shiver. I have no idea why.

Beautiful pictures, especially considering they were taken from a moving vehicle. I especially like the one with the contrails.

Very nice.

LMM how nice to hear from you I have missed you, enidd and sally. I met enidd and the man when I visited Sam last month, we had lunch together. I still haven't done a post about it but will get round to it soon.

steffi unfortunately it was for business not pleasure that we went to London.

grannymar it does feel quite eerie as it begins to get dark!

sandy at one point I counted 9 contrails together but couldn't get a photo it was very pretty.

pamela but you are much more skillful than me.

john I hadn't remembered that Pink Floyd used the power station on that album cover!

lisa thank you. It wasn't really a pleasure trip yesterday but it was a nice day as the sun shone even if temperatures remained low.
