Getting worried.......
.....my mind's in a whirl....why you may ask?
Well, I haven't really done any Christmas Shopping yet and to be honest I'm having trouble trying to decide what to get everyone.
Embee has given me a small list of things he would like, and I know what my eldest grandson wants. I'm waiting for Beccy to guide me on the rest of her family.
Sam has been very busy at work so she hasn't yet had time to send me ideas. However, as I will be ordering on the internet that will be OK.
My mother is still dithering, everything I suggest she doesn't want and says there are things she wants more but can she come up with anything...not so far.
I have to seek help from my two nieces, for their children, in fact I will be trying to ring them as soon as I have finished writing this post.
I wonder am I the only one finding it difficult to choose Christmas gifts!!!!

Well if you rang me when there are no children around your mind might not be in such turmoil!
beccy but if the children aren't there your friends are visiting or your phone is ringing and I never know when to choose- is your webcam up and running yet???
I'm not even thinking about Christmas yet!
don't fret mum. It's just christmas. We don't need presents. Save them for the kids.
You're definitely not the only one - I haven't started for anyone at all! (looking at toys for the munchin on Amazon doesn't really count!)
Ok mum so I had two people visit on my birthday and guess how many people visited all week? Yes those two that visited on my birthday! Of course if you want me to have no visitors then I'll tell people not to call and sit in waiting for the phone to ring.
Btw I agree with Sam.
No, you're not alone. I only have to buy one, and ... ???
Ahhh, the joys of the 'season'!!!
We've got one more birthday to go this month before we even start thinking about Xmas. Ix's 10th b/day is on the last day of November. Not to worry tho.

The banter in your comments makes me smile.
I'm having trouble with gifts this year. I feel like I am behind on getting stuff. I should work on that today.
Not to be smug but I am done! Finished today, although that was mainly because I need hubby to take them all the UK when he goes next week to save on postage!
its' tough isn't it? my mom was all anxious about what to get for us, and of course i had no idea how late in the year it was getting, i'm on baby time, so keeping up with diapers is about all i can get to these days. with older kids you can't go wrong with music (do they do itunes?) certificates for downloading from the internet for use on mp3 players. or a certificate for books or movies out with friends.
I shall ignore the comments of my daughters. Can you imagine for a minute that I would not include them on my shopping list.
AC and Beckie I can see I'm not alone!
Alix I think you are being very sensible and I'm sure if I'd had a deadline like yours I would be better organised.
Mal I too have a couple more B'days one tomorrow and one in Dec.
Lil mouse those are good ideas thank you.
FYI--as of today, I'm hosting Fun Monday on Dec 1st.

Thanks
I am usually done with my shopping by now and I haven't even started.
it may be a skinny Christmas - except for my blue jeans.
I am so glad that I am not the only one at a loss as to what to get my family for Christmas - It gets much more difficult the older they get. It seems that the bigger the boys, the bigger the toys they want !
I don't even want to talk Christmas.
I feel the same! I have no idea what to get even my own kids! I'm tired of buying more junk. I guess I'll be one of those frenzied last minute shoppers this year. :(
