Sunday Sunshine

I don't know what the temperature is today but it is very hot for the time of the year and we are trying to make the most of it. I have spent the morning chasing up more forms (see yesterday's post) and when I came home for lunch, my mother whom I haven't mention lately decided she would sit in the sun for half an hour. Always looking for a photo opportunity I naturally got the camera. You will see the tortoises are also making the most of the late sunshine. I wish I could join them but as soon as I've posted this I'm back out to knock on doors for another couple of hours.

I hope it's sunny where you are and that you are enjoying your 'Sun'day.

Glad somebody had sunshine.

Dry but dull and very breezy here in my part of Northern Ireland.

I am up, and able to come and go when and wherever I want, so I have no complaints.

Nice photo of your mother.

grannymar I'm sure our sunshine won't last for too much longer.

john if you could see what's on my lawn you would understand why it's not been cut. (the chaps doing the paving cleaning just dumped everything on it, so no room to get a lawn mower!)

her indoors hope your car boot sale was lucrative (were you selling or buying or both?)

frannie it's certainly getting pretty cool at night here but I just want the sunshine to last a bit longer during the day.

karmyn don't remind about rain I want to forget it for as long as possible.

beccy I guess your weather is like ours then.

sj snow wow now you're making me shiver!

We also had an amazingly beautiful, sunny day. Long may it last! Especially since it's getting much colder at night now..and the days are shortening so fast.

What a beautiful picture!

I wish I could sit beside her.

The sun has been out this weekend here, which was much appreciated :)

Yep - it was 35C (95F) on our sunny Sunday. I am so jealous of those going into winter, with snow even.

I spent part of mine with the fabulous Sam and Fred, and their sunshiney deck was TOO sunshiney.
Fun was had by all.

We definetly did not have sunshine today. More like pouring rain and 30mile an hour winds!

Nice picture of your mom. We are still sunny here - it's just starting to get coolish - finally. Expected highs in the 50s and 60s this week! Time to find the little man's jacket.
