I-SPY !
I don't think this guy would appreciate me spying on him. Just after these were taken he was falling about on the floor. I thought it might be drink or drugs but then he might just have been ill. He could have been a diabetic! Should I feel guilty for not finding out but to tell the truth I was a bit scared. What would you have done?

Yikes! Called the police or hide under the blankets like a baby!
He is most probably drunk!! I have seen it many times during Spring break here. College kids gets so drunk, they have no clue what they are doing!!
Leave him be, don't get involved.
I would have called the cops if he kept hanging around... freaky! But like you say... it's easy to assume the worst!
Joules is wondering why you've taken that picture, he says 'if a mans got to go a mans got to go' I wonder where his brains are sometimes because they're not in his head!
BTW he has a day off if you're wondering.
My bet is he's tipped the bottle one too many times. I'd have called the police if his behavior got anymore suspicious or of it looked like he was actually sick.
I'm with most everyone else here. I would have called the police either way - if I thought he was drunk or if I thought he was ill.
On another note, don't you think that some night, when they're all hangin' out in bars, some guys might try to find a less obvious stance? You know, one just for use in public? Just a thought.
I wouldn't have gone out there either. I would have just left him be unless he stayed a long while.
No point in calling the police, he's still alive. He looks ok, just needed a pee!
I think I would have done as you: be vigilant and let him be if possible.

But, I would have called the police. Let them deal with it, that is what they are there for. If he was having a medical crisis, you wouldn't have been able to do anything anyways. You don't need to put yourself in danger.
Did he do anyone any harm? Was he in need of help? I don't think so - let's just leave him be.
Mum - I know for a fact that you hath looked upon a bush when nature hath called at an inopportune moment. Now - how would you have liked it if somebody had taken a photo of you with your pants down and posted it on the interwebs?
And as for calling the cops - c'mon people. next thing you'll all be complaining they aren't doing enough to catch real criminals. Looks like cops might be overkill. He's not the first person to drink too much and he won't be the last.

it looks like he was peeing, so i agree drunk. if he fell and didnt get up or wandered into the street and not straight down the sidewalk, then i would say call the cops. if he wanders off okay, then fine.

Yeah, most likely it was the drink - you know, since he had to pee and all.
beckie most of you feel he was drunk so I don't feel so bad at not doing anything-except keep an eye on him. Mind there was one point when I thought he was going to fall into the road, luckily there wasn't too much traffic.
At least it was only a wee!!!

I guess I've got a really dirty mind, because I thought in the second picture he was doing a poo in the bushes.
(I've long said that, in San Francisco, you should never lick your car. I've seen men peeing on cars. Women don't -- can't, actually, or maybe could only athletically -- do that.)

Hmm. I'd have probably gone to see if he was ok. That either makes me very kind or very stupid. Oh, and I totally would have taken a photo to blog about it first too.

and i prob would have left him, if he had caused trouble or accosted someone, then i would have called the police.
