Happy St David'd Day 2009

HAPPY ST. DAVID'S DAY
'n ddedwydd St Dafydd s Ddiwrnod
On the first of March last year I had daffodils blooming in my garden for St David's Day. Not so this year we need a little more warmth before these little buds burst into bloom.

For my Welsh friends who are celebrating today, have a really lovely day.

My daffs started to come out due to the the much warmer temperature we had last week, it's meant to get a lot cooler next week so I hope they don't all die on me!

Beccy I'm sure they will be OK. This time last year I was coming to see you.

Diolch yn fawr i chi.

My daffs are not out yet either, although one or two are close.

They look pretty darn close. Maybe you could post another photo at the end of the week -- just for my snow-blinded eyes. :)

Another Holiday to learn about! Daffodils around here have been blooming so pretty. Guess what? Yep, it snowed last night. I don't think it will hurt them much though. It will be warmer weather tomorrow plus most of out snow is gone. We always just get enough snow to tease us. LOL!

AC definitely more photos will be taken.

Sam I do indeed have Welsh friends and some blog and plurk.

Kitten I think we have seen the last of our snow not that we had much. The temp is dropping again this evening because we have open skies after a lovely sunny day.

There's still snow on the ground where I live... Sigh.

Mine are buried under the snow somewhere. Just be sure to post yours when they bloom so I can at least enjoy yours.

I've seen some crocus popping up - but no daffodils or tulips anywhere near what you're posting.

I'm sure they'll be here in their own good time, tho.

What a beautiful "springy" picture! We don't have anything blooming around here. At this rate, I think it will be JUNE!

I have some crocus blooming today (the sun is out briefly to open them up a bit). And last night I heard some local frogs singing - so spring is in the air!!!
