Can you name me!
I have very little time to do a long blog so I want to leave you with this picture to see if you can identify the fish. Beccy and I shared it for lunch today, at the Fishworks Seafood Cafe, in Bath and I will be telling you more about it on another day.

I don't know, but it sure is ugly!
It reminds me of someone but can't think who...this memory of mine!
You Caught Nessy out of Loch Ness!! Oh NO!
It's a crocodile, obviously.
It is called "the ugliest fish in all the seas"
I'm pretty sure it's a Monk fish!
I'm only guessing this because it looks an awful lot like the monk fish that they use to scare the rats out of tourists at the Flying Fish in Pike's Place Market.
I hope he tasted better than he looked!! glad you are having a wonderful time with Beccy.
Well, shoot. I saw the title and the picture and immediately thought, "mary" after my ex m-i-l but then I read the whole post.
I have no idea what that is!
I'm sure his name is Howard.
Is it a monkfish? I know they're ugly looking things!
I have no idea what that is!
This is an easy one! How about "Really Dang Ugly!"
I think his name was Horrace or Harold, he kinda looks like a Harold! My god how could you eat something with a face like that! It almost looks Human! Ugly but human!
OMG, I have no idea but it scares me. He looks really mean.
Have no clue, but sure is ugly!
Hope all is well!
you ate that whole fish between two?
I have no idea? Wrasse? Angler fish? I am pretty sure it isn't monkfish.
Indeed that is a Monk Fish...not the best looking fish of the bunch, yet flavourful
Gurnard.
I agree it is a Gurnard.
It is UGLY. How did it taste?
All will be revealed tomorrow but at least two of you have hit the jackpot~that's if I was giving prizes which I'm not...sorry!
I see now - it is a gurnard.
hope it tasted better than it looks!
I donĀ“t know...but I think when he is baked he looks good on your plate!
