Fun Monday # 36

Pamela is our delightful host so definitely no dusting for her this week! She says

"I want to see what you see on any given morning this week; from somewhere very near where you live. Front porch, back porch, down the street, around the corner. Just makes sure it's your neighborhood. Post a photo that will send me to the travel agent to book a weekend at your local Bed & Breakfast".

I'm afraid I have not been very imaginative as you will have seen these same views before but I have been rather busy this last week. This is the view that has greeted me every morning when I leave the house
to go here to buy the daily papers. This was taken from my front garden with telescopic lens. It can be very handy to have a local store particularly as they open 6am to midnight.
If I look in the other direction I see the local 'bed and breakfast', it's actually next door to us.
From here you could travel locally to take in the views, such as The Suspension Bridge.

Or you could go a little further and walk along the River Severn to see the two bridges that link us to Wales.

(these last two photos are not mine they came from a free site).
I think I've said before Bristol and the surrounding area has a lot to offer visitors even if my neighbourhood is not exactly exciting. However I do get a nice view across my neighbours gardens at this time of the year; the leaves are just beginning to turn colour.

I will come visting your neighbourhood even if it takes me a couple of days. I think a lot you are going to be enticing us to visit. I could do with borrowing Swampy's broomstick!!

I suspect those views will even be more pretty in the next couple of weeks as the trees start to change more.

My husband's family always believed that they were of Welsh heritage. Your pictures are beautiful. I would so like to see all of our Fun Monday spots in person, but your pictures are the next best thing.

Very nice! We have a convenience store at the end of our neighborhood and it really helps out when I take the hubs car anywhere. It's always on E!

You can borrow my broomstick anytime you want it.
Lovely post. I am so amazed at how different all our neighborhoods are but how much alike we are.

Great shots of your neighbourhood. I live half a block from a service station that is open 24 hours, it has a convenience store within it. It is so handy when you run out of milk at 11pm or need an ice cream in the middle of the night!

Those bridges are lovely! I would love to see them but I think I would be too scared to cross that suspension bridge. I'm weird that way. :) I'll come visit you for a bit then maybe you can come visit me for a while.

I love the bridges. I like the stone fence in your yard. Our nearest convenience store is 15 km away, but we have the paper delivered daily to the end of our driveway.

Beautiful pictures. I am so jealous that everything is so gorgeous and green. Instead of living in a desert where the only thing green are the golf courses.

I would love to come and visit, I didn't realize how close Wales was, just a hop skip over the bridges.

Those are gorgeous photos - and I love that you can see the bridges to Wales.

You have made up my mind for me - I'm definitely going abroad, even though it scares the daylights out of me. At least I'll start in a country where they speak English!

I'm sorry im visiting a day late...

I love bridges -
I've enjoyed every picture you've taken of your neighborhood.

These are no exception. What would have been better, would have been me walking along with you to snap my own pictures. AND THEN, going back to your house for some of those cookies you bake. And Tea.
