Summer Solstice

You are getting two posts today as I could not let the Summer Solstice pass by without a mention and it is the longest day so I'm hoping for a bright day and a beautiful sunset. I might be disappointed as its overcast and showery at the moment. Many Druids will be making the pilgrimage to Stonehenge in Wiltshire to see the sunrise and celebrate.

asha how long ago was that ? I don't think I have been there seen the girls were young. In fact it's somewhere I should take the grandchildren.

Today was supposed to be showery and overcast but the weather man was wrong....not unusual but hey he's got a 50/50 chance right? Anyway we got to enjoy the sunshine on the longest day and even made a late trip to the park at 9 pm! Of course it doesn't compare to Kelly who didn't see much of any dark today. It's light most of the time there right now

swampy it's a big thing here and they have a huge music festival at Glastonbury this weekend so everyone flocks to the west country.

my4kids I was disappointed as this year we had a very dull evening and it certainly didn't feel like the longest day, mores the pity :(
