Help me up!!
Before anyone says I'm taking advantage of an 'elder' I have to say when my mother called me she was laughing and the first thing she said was 'have you got your camera'. I replied' I can't post a picture of your knickers for the world to see' she said 'I don't care'. So folks here she is and there's not a lot to see and she did get up without assistance because as she rightly pointed out I might not be around next time. I wonder why she even attempted to sit on the top of the stairs in the first place!!

What a lovely picture of your legs granny, you better be careful or the men will be beating a path to your door!
enidd would hazard a guess that if you hadn't come along, your mother would have been sliding down that bannister. she was probably just too embarrassed to be caught.

Have a great weekend,See you on Monday Chris:))
It's great to see her laughing about that.
I can see where you get your sense of humor, Chris!
I love my granny.
beccy granny said 'she wished they would; particularly if they were rich and would take her out'
enidd she thought this very funny and wished she'd she could.
asha she loved being thought of 'as an English rose'
lisa she has a good sense of humour
sam granny sends her love to you.
woohoo check out those legs! Beccy said (on my grandma-isms block co-incidentally) that your mum had had a fall and I nipped straight over to see that she is ok and if her knickers really are on display! Great shot and good to see she has no injuries. Or no shame for that matter - my grandma is exactly the same (if only she could climb stairs!) I think your mum needs a blog of her own - then you could be a serious blamily (blogging family) with a glogger (grandma blogger).
Your mother seems like such a great lady. So funny that she wanted you to post a picture of her not being able to get up!
mind the gap thanks for coming over; thankfully it was more a plonk down than a proper fall could have been dangerous otherwise.
my4kids she likes playing the star!!
are you sure she didn't fall?
I fell four years ago on the stairs and fractured my left leg so badly that I have a nice metal rod and four screws (there were five, but one was removed so I could walk... it's in my jewelry case, as it's the most expensive piece of metal I own)
pamela she has had some nasty falls in the past; luckily she's never broken anything, but has been really badly bruised. ooh your fracture sounds awful all that metal and screws; that reminds me of the time I took mum to San Fransisco it was the nov after 9/11 and when she went through the scanner it activated. My some woman pounced on her and was really rough with her frisking etc. I suddenly realised that the cause was probably her two metal knees but they didn't want to know. We laugh about it now.
Dear chrisb. What a classic photo! I'm glad your mum was laughing and that the camera was handy!
little miss moi- she's acting like a 'prima donna' and enjoying all the attention!!
