Last night Embee came home with a timer, it can sit by the computer or clip to my waste band and I can keep track of cooking times. This morning I used it and I have perfectly baked soda bread.
So thank you Embee, glad you spotted that little gadget.

I have a small one I can either stick on the fridge or take with me, i have a covered spot on the stroller top that I can tuck it into if I want to walk and keep an eye on something being timed as well.
ReplyDeleteIt sounds good but I can't see the picture.
ReplyDeleteBeccy that happened once before I wonder why!
ReplyDeleteHahahaha! That Embee is so thoughtful, he'll spare no effort or expense to ensure his meal isn't stuffed up.
ReplyDeleteTimers come in quite handy for many things...like time out for the little ones.
ReplyDeleteYou know, that's a pretty good idea.
ReplyDeleteNow THAT is a great idea! I totally went out in the garden the other day forgetting I left something cooking and it was a little over done! LOL! I probably need one of those too!
ReplyDeleteOh by the way! You won a tshirt can you email me if you still have my email. I thought I had your address but could not find it. Cheers! Hugs and smoochies xxxx
Karisma how exciting I'm not usually one of life's winners xx
ReplyDeleteThat's a great idea, I just use the timer on my mobile phone for things like that though.
ReplyDeleteWend I didn't even think about using the phone.
ReplyDeleteI can see it now.
ReplyDeleteThe advantage of living in an apartment is it's not big enough to not hear the timer. But in the past I burnt many meals while at the computer.
ReplyDeletemy best friend Wendy bought me a timer for me birthday..... its an egg and when the timer goes off it hatches and a bloody chicken crows out the top LOL
ReplyDeleteNever thought I would ever use one, but I find I do now lol
